Body & Soul is a group show of 27 artists from north Georgia, Atlanta and Florida. Representational and abstract paintings, photographs, sculptures and conceptual works depict spirit at play in the human figure, nature and many other everyday scenes.
Artists were invited to submit work aligned literally or figuratively with "body" and "soul."
Body, for example, could be taken to mean works related to the human figure. Or body may represent a body of water,a body of work, heavenly bodies or, more broadly, forms of any type.
Soul could also be interpreted in the broadest way possible - spirit, essence, recesses of the heart, life force, character or divine spark - however artists see soul in their works.
